>CAJ - Joan responded  to the series in postcard champaign.  She would like to discuss Disney for next year.  We are chatting on Tues afternoon.

2/13/15
>CAJ - have sent emails out daily to Joan.  Have called the school twice daily at the main office only to leave notes at the front office desk.  The lady their thinks I am crazy since I have been calling twice a day for Joan and she's always with someone or leaving early.  Will continue to keep calling the school since my emails don't get answered.

2/13/15
>CAJ - Spoke to Joan - she is coming to diner. Universal is good - 45 band, 40 orchestra and 22 Jazz band students and 1 adult per 10 students - 100 students and 10 adults she said to plan for.  Leave Wed after school, do the Wet and Wild, park time, Festival on Fri and Sat - leave Sat night for way home.  All meals included best rate hotel as possible.

4/6/16:
>  BT updated contacts to indicate Peter Smeallie as CD.
>  Choir is not going on the current trip.

7/28/16:
>  BT updated Brendan Kelly as Band Director and primary contact.

4/21/17:
>  BT had a good in person meeting with Brendan (came to Morton's) - Phil referral
>  Wants to do a trip next year similar to the Walt Whitman trip. Really wants to get the choir director back on board with traveling, thinks this will do it.
>  Could be 150 pax if all go. Choir = 50, 2 jazz bands = 15-20 each, 1 orch. = 30-35, 1 concert band = 45. Less than 5 crossovers.
>  Really likes format of Whitman trip - definitely clinics and concert. Open to sporting event. Prob not museum of art or brunch on the Mosholu :-)
>  Likes idea of step on tour.
>  Looking at possibly March 22-24, 2018.
>  He will show choir director Whitman itinerary and other info we talked about, talk to admin. and hopefully get rolling on this.
>  Budgetwise - we looked at Joan's PTP to Disney from last year and he felt like that budget range would be doable.

5/23/17:
>  Brendan talked to choir guy - definitely on board!
>  choir - 35-40- students max. Interested in Philly/clinics. Maybe NYC? Broadway show.
>  band 50, jazz - 35, orch. 36 
>  So about 160 students + 25 adults.
>  BT - send broadway 101 info - maybe stopping and doing clinics at Rutgers/Stoney Brook/Hofstra or other college on the way. Choir guy MIGHT want Bway101?
>  Broadway shows. Typical tourist stuff. 
>  NYC seems like a better bet - more attractive option to get all the kids on board.
>  Dates - Friday, March 23 (leave early), 2 hotel nights, get back Sunday evening.
>  Maybe spirit of NY for breakfast on Sunday? or Statue of Liberty.
>  BK will get final word from CD and admin on dates and destination.
