>  DD told him we could do a Disney trip for about the same money he did a Virginia Beach trip in the past. This transpired after I had some dialogue with him about letting a travel professional  handle his trips.

So the focus of the meeting should be Florida and a general overview of what CCIS is all about.

Hi Chuck!
  I hope you had a relaxing summer and great band camp.  I missed working with you and your level of organization last year. It is always such a pleasure and I hope your trip to Tennessee with Fiesta-val was a success.
  I wanted to make you aware that Dave Dietz is no longer working with CCIS as we have consolidated our sales team into a full-time staff.  Brett Taylor, a long-time client and former HS Band Director from the DC Metro Area is now handling eastern PA for us. Brett has worked for CISS for the past few years on a part-time basis and when we made the move to a full-time team, he was offered the position and we are thrilled to have him on board.
  Brett will actually be in your area mid-week, so I am hoping that he can stop by the school to meet you in person.  Brett is also a private pilot, so he travels to meet many of our groups in person throughout the year via plane, so please don’t feel that because he is not from PA, you will not see him or have access to him in person if you ever need it.
  I have copied Brett on this email of introduction, so I would appreciate your responding to him directly when you receive his email so the two of you might be able to schedule a meeting at a mutually convenient time.  Brett will also be able to tell you about an exciting new division of CCIS that will have its’ official roll-out in early October, Discover Student Travel, “Budget Friendly Adventures!”.  Had we have had this in place last season, I know your group would have been able to stay with CCIS for the trip to Pigeon Forge!

>  Catherine reached out to office today looking for an estimate for a 2019 Disney trip - 2 options.
>  Per BJS, we want to give her an estimate based on 2018 rates.
>  190 + 26 = 216 pax.
>  Fleetwood, PA to WDW Resort = 1025 miles = 17.5 hrs. non-stop
>  They are looking to go to Disney World again in 2019 (late Feb/early March 2019).
>  1 estimate with the following:
   -Approx. 190 students, 26 adult chaperones (3 of whom are the music teachers/directors)
   -Round trip travel between Fleetwood, PA and Orlando by charter bus
   -3-days in the parks
   -Disney Performing Arts On Stage program
   -Staying at one of Disney's All-Star Resorts
   -2 Disney dining cards per day
>  1 estimate with the following:
   -Approx. 190 students, 26 adult chaperones (3 of whom are the music teachers/directors)
   -Round trip travel between Fleetwood, PA and Orlando by flight (and charter bus to/from airport, as well as -
     for performances in Disney)
   -4-days in the parks
   -Disney Performing Arts On Stage program
   -Staying at one of Disney's All-Star Resorts
   -2 Disney dining cards per day
>  BT reached out and asked Catherine the following questions to see if we could get any more info and she responded. Questions and her responses are below.
>  Do you have exact travel dates in mind yet? Disney hotel prices fluctuate based on dates quite a bit.
If you don’t have exact dates yet, are you flexible within a range of dates?
 - No exact travel dates have been nailed down yet, but when we went to Disney in 2015 we were there at the end of the first week in March.  Let’s use Feb 27-March 3, 2019 as a general timeframe.
>  Chuck specified a couple of local charter bus companies for his New York trip. Kline and Elite, but said to avoid Bieber. Do you have any other companies you would like for us to seek quotes from?
 - Klein and Elite are definitely preferred, yes.  We definitely want to avoid Bieber.
>  If you go by bus, are you open to staying at an off-property hotel? This can potentially save your group some money.
 - We weren’t particularly thrilled with the off-property place we stayed at in 2015: there were bed bug issues, multiple room key problems, unhelpful hotel staff, and loud/inebriated hotel guests who were there for a wedding reception that became out of control.  We’d like to stay on property this time in the hopes that some of these issues can be avoided, etc.
>  You mentioned 2 Disney dining cards per day, and we always include breakfast at the hotel each morning. Would you like any other meals included? We typically have an all-inclusive meal plan which includes meals en route. You probably experienced this on your last two trips with us.
 - Yes, we’d like to include meals en route.  
>  BT researched last trip, they stayed at Buena Vista Suites.

>  Not only did Chuck ditch us after a personal visit and completed TO, Catherine told me for their 2019 Orlando trip (which we only gave her guesses for thankfully) she had a "unique opportunity to book with a local travel company who handles chartered flights out of the Reading Airport, so we’re going with them."
>  What a crock! I replied - "For future reference, working with chartered flights is not unique to your local travel company. If that’s something you were interested in, we certainly could have looked into that for you."
