9/12/11:
Had CN in FedEx and received word from BD, Bill Strickler, that they signed a K and paid Deposit to Heritage Festivals for this trip last Spring.  UFB!!!

10.21.12> CJ:Hershey Park on May 3-4.  They are performing Friday night and spending Saturday in the park.  They will stay only 1 night (Friday) and we only need breakfast, lunch (picnic in the park for an extra fee), and dinner on Saturday.  It will be Choir, Orchestra, Guitar, 2 directors and approx: 150 students, 13 chaperones.  Our Festival is Music in the Parks, competition time on Friday night between 8-10 PM.Can you beat $220/person from Kaleidoscope?

>  BT emailed Jessica to see if she would respond since Bill has not.
>  She did...they are both going with Heritage this year.

7/5/17:
>  BT had conversation with Bill after reviewing all notes and EM from BJS.
>  would like a clinic in NY. not worried about festival. Band and Orchestra. Might do a combined orchestra.  
>  75 total students plus 8 to 10 adults. 85 to 90 total.

>  tour around statue of liberty
>  9/11 museum and memorial.
>  Looking at leaving early morning of Friday 3/23 - overnight. could also do a Saturday overnight. Return late Saturday evening.
>  Budget - $700 or less for an overnight. "Went to Disney last year for $750". Had some parents organize it. Reston Limo was charter. 
>  BT asked what brings him back to us. He said, "well you know, I've used you before". I asked if he is seeking quotes from anyone else and he said no, he's only called us. I reminded him about how we do all of the work up front and mentioned that we had a couple of trips cancelled after doing a lot of work, so I had to ask the question.
>  Top of the Rock, Central Park. Open to suggestions.
>  Approved charter list - Loudoun County. Used Reston Limo last year, really liked them. Thinks it's online, we should have it. He said he could get it to me next time he's in the office.
>  Needs to submit for approval, "shouldn't be a problem".
>  BT told him about Ensemble Info Forms and will send.
>  IMO, worth a JPP if he returns ensemble forms promptly.

8/17/17:
>  BT got an email from Bill. Turing the trip over to his colleague Samantha Oakley. She will be taking the lead.
>  Reached out to her and researched the website. She's on it, but no job title.
>  Will update contact in TPMS if and when I hear back from her.

>  Great news - had a great chat with Samantha. IMO, this is no longer a JPP. Updated contact in TPMS.
>  Bill is "getting old" so she is taking over. Has exact approved dates and almost all of the info we need to get started.

>  #s still 75 + 8 BUT, they have invited the choir. Could be 30+ more pax. She hasn't confirmed yet, so I'm holding off on updating to "Music Dept".

>  Budget - no more than $750 - absolute cap. We discussed typical NYC cost. Talked about how they could probably do a 2 night trip for that cost. Not sure if Bill will go for it "wants a day off b4 going back to work", but she would LOVE to do that.

>  Once we have that and ensemble forms, I will add trip to system. She couldn't believe that I was willing to come to her school and work with her. She's "never seen that before". She said "this is going to be way easier than I thought!".
>  Sounds like Bill needs to retire - but handing control to Samantha is good enough!
